DorothyROBINSONPeacefully at home on Wednesday 26th July 2023. Dot, aged 79 years of Meltham. Beloved wife of the late David. Much loved mum of David, Richard and Tracy. Treasured grandma and great grandma. Dear sister of Mollie, Stuart, Michael and Robert and cherished aunty. Dot will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to take place on Friday 25th August 2023, Huddersfield Crematorium at 12:30pm. Family flowers only, donations in Dot's memory are appreciated to PDSA. They say time is a healer, there is no amount of time that can replace what has been lost, you may be gone but you will live on forever with those who love you, the memories will last with the stories told and passed on for generations to come. The memories of travelling up in the car as a child knowing we was heading for grandma's house was always a good feeling, especially when we was staying over the weekend for a roast dinner and when the cake stand would come out or the biscuit tins you knew you was in for a treat especially for homemade parkin or ginger biscuit. To times when I would work away and come and stay making sure my bed was made up as it should otherwise would be told about it but then knowing you would go back around and re make it as it just wasn't as it should. To always being happy to have a good talk, some good advice but you would always speak your mind especially the time I dyed my hair red and you didn't like it but it was already coming out it turned a funny orange colour. Love and miss you grandma xxx
